The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus was founded in 1932 in Minsk. At present the Central Botanical Garden is a unique natural object of landscape art.It combines the features of metropolitan attractions and major cultural & educational, eco-educational and educational centre. It is one of the largest botanical gardens in Europe both by the composition of its collection (more than 10 000 species) as well as by its area (about 100 hectares).The stamp project was prepared in cooperation with the Central Botanical Garden of NAS of Belarus.
