50th Anniversary of the First Spacewalks
On July 2nd, 2015 Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP) is issuing the souvenir sheet “50th Anniversary of the First “Spacewalks”.In 1965 the first ever extravehicular activity was performed. The first ever heroes to perform this activity were the Soviet pilot-cosmonaut Alexey Leonov and the American astronaut Edward White. The KEP souvenir sheet, consisting of two stamps, is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the feats performed by these outstanding men.

175th Anniversary of the World’s First Postage Stamp
On July 2nd, 2015 Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP) is issuing the souvenir sheet “175th Anniversary of the World’s First Postage Stamp”.On May 6th, 1840 the first world’s postage stamp was issued in Great Britain, which initiated the radical postal reform, as well as the worldwide philatelic movement. The stamp is known in philately as the “Penny Black” (because of the miniature’s colour and face value). The KEP souvenir sheet, consisting of one stamp, is dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the world’s first postage stamp.
