Malaysia has issued special stamps featuring the uniqueness of herons and bitterns on 25th June 2015. “Herons and bitterns were chosen to increase public awareness and promote the conservation of these birds and their habitats worldwide. “There are 19 species of these birds found in Malaysia, seven of which can be observed at the Kuala Selangor Nature Park,” he said.The stamps measuring 30mm X 40mm are available in two denominations, 60 sen and 70 sen vertical format and 80 sen for the horizontal format.
