Music legend Phil Lynott has been immortalised after An Post launched two Thin Lizzy stamps to mark the Irish band’s 50th anniversary.The two national rate €1 stamps — which are sure to excite ‘philatelists’, or stamp collectors — feature Thin Lizzy’s Black Rose album cover and a portrait of Phil by renowned Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick. The close pal of Lynott said the family are delighted by the gesture and revealed told of the Lynott daughters’ similarities to their famous dad.
