A permanent philatelic exhibition was established at the renovated Electric Theatre hall of the Anna Salai Head Post Office,Chennai in 2017. The Electric Theatre, which houses the permanent exhibition, has facility of  screenings of documentaries and short films on philately for the visitors. The permanent exhibition is open on all working days, including Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Recently on 28th January 25 students of CSI Middle school, Triplicane visited Permanent Philatelic Exhibition at Anna Road HO, as an educational tour. One of the Philately Promotion Executives of CCR conducted a workshop and introduced them to the basics of stamp collection.
