For the first time an International Philatelic Exhibition INDIPEX-73 was organized in India from 14th to 23rd Nov. 1973. To propagate this exhibition, one stamp was issued on 8th Jan. 1973 and three stamps were issued on inauguration day of the exhibition i.e. 14th Nov.1973.
F.D.C. exhibited here is of first stamp issued on 8th Jan. 1973 with stamp and first day cancelation. After that another stamp of INDIPEX-73 issued during exhibition was affixed on the FDC and cancelled with the INDIPEX cancelation.
