Malaysia has issued a series of stamps in honour of Tuanku Abdul Halim who completed his five-year reign as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Dec 12.Tuanku is the first Ruler to have reigned twice as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Diyana said the stamps would come in three designs, namely ‘The King as the Head of Religion’, at 85 sen each; ‘The King as the Head of the Military’, at 95 sen each, and ‘The King as the Head of the Nation’, at RM1.05 each. A total of 150,000 stamps of each design would be printed.The stamp collection also comes with the Miniature Sheet valued at RM3 that portrays the image of His Majesty inspecting a guard-of-honour.
