Centenary of the coronation of Blessed King Charles IV and Queen Zita

hungary-saint-stampsMagyar Posta continues its series of stamps on the theme of Hungarian saints and blesseds. The Hungarian Saints and Blesseds IV special stamp block commemorates the centenary of the coronation of Blessed Charles IV, Apostolic King, and Queen Zita. In addition to the standard edition of the numbered block containing three stamps, a special decorative edition with silver foil and embossing has been produced. The stamp blocks are also available in an exclusive set, which includes a limited edition black print that is only sold as part of the set. The issues were designed by the graphic artist Imre Benedek and produced by ANY Security Printing Company.

100 Years of Harvester and Parliament Stamp Series

hungary-parliament-stampMagyar Posta is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the release of the Harvester and Parliament stamp series, which is considered a classic by philatelists, by issuing a definitive stamp with a label. The label of the definitive stamp Your Own Message Stamp IV: Domestic 35 shows a compilation of the 4 and 15 fillér Harvester denominations and the 10 korona Parliament denomination of the Harvester and Parliament stamp series. The new issue was designed by the graphic artist Imre Benedek and produced by the printing company Pénzjegynyomda.  New postal tariffs were introduced on 1 October 1916.
