Apple and Pear
The ten stamps with the denomination Netherlands 1 portray apple and pear varieties, that are grown in our country, often on a small scale. The images are from the Netherlands Orchard, a nineteenth-century standard with illustrations of more than a hundred apple and pear varieties.

100 Years of Schiphol Airport
The ten stamps with photos and infographics show the growth of Schiphol. Designer Reynoud Homan chose photos that contain familiar elements for the air traveler: waiting in the departure hall, the concrete platform on the way to the aircraft stairs, clear sight lines and the contact with air on the piers of the new Schiphol and the characteristic contours of the control towers on arrival or departure.

T Rex in Town
From September 10 you can see an original skeleton of a T. rex at Naturalis, Leiden. The exhibition ‘T. rex in Town is the reason for a new mail-set, consisting of a stamp sheetlet with three stamps and three matching cards. Issue Date: 15.09.2016
