Oman Post has issued six commemorative stamps to mark the golden jubilee of the Sultanate’s postal services.At a cost of 250 baisas for each stamp, people can purchase the special edition at an Oman Post office in Ruwi near the Omantel tower. The first stamp displays a red metallic post box, which people in the 60s used to drop their mails into.Another stamp includes images of three mini Omani stamps, each representing a significant period of the country’s postal history.
