Postage Stamp on Netaji Bose Emerge from Gumnami Baba’s Belongings

netaji stampsPhotographs of two postage stamps, which were released on the 67th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose were among the 189 items/articles, which were retrieved during the cross-checking and verification of items belonging to Gumnami Baba alias Bhagwanji (believed to be Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in exile by a section of the society). The retrieval of Gumnami Baba’s belongings is currently underway at the district treasury of Faizabad, and the photographs of the postage stamps surfaced on Friday. “Of the 189 items, we came across photographs of two postage stamps, which were released on the 67th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose (probably in 1963),” Shakti Singh told TOI from Faizabad. Shakti Singh is also the owner of Ram Bhawan, where Bhagwanji lived the final years of his life.(The Times of India)
