Latvia Issued Stamps on Coats of Arms of Latvian Towns and Municipalities

The stamp with a denomination of €0.50 is dedicated to the coat of arms of Alsunga Municipality and depicts the magnificent golden ring fibula, glorified in songs. The stamp with a denomination of €0.57 depicts the coat of arms of Beverina Municipality, which features a fibula with signs important to Latvians and symbols of figurative meaning. The stamp with a denomination of €1.39 features the coat of arms of Smiltene Municipality. The base of the coat of arms is gold-colored and it depicts a blue cornflower with nine petals, symbolizing the entire Municipality: the town of Smiltene and eight surrounding parishes.
