Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong unveiled designs of a set of stamp on 19th July 2015 commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Citizens’ Consultative Committee (CCC) at an award ceremony at Teck Ghee Community.The stamps, which will be made into national stamps, were designed by 18-year-old Mavis Tan Jia Lin from ITE College Central. This is the first time national stamps were designed by students from the Institute of Technical Education. Mr Lee also presented awards to the top three winners. The stamps will be launched and made available to the public on Oct 24.(Source-CNA/xk)
