Thailand Issued MS on 60th B’Day of  Princess Sirindhorn:Stamps Printed with AR Technology

thailand princess stampThailand issued a commemorative stamp set on 4th April 2015 for the auspicious celebration of the 60th birthday anniversary of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. This  commemorative stamp set used lithographic printing and hot stamping foil in order to create the royal emblem designed in purple, along with a portrait of Her Royal Highness.The stamp has also integrated Augmented Reality (AR) Technology. The public can install the Stamp Alive application available on both Android and iOS devices to scan the stamp and see a special 2.5-minute video.

Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is the second daughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. As the eldest female child of the royal family (excluding Ubol Ratana, who married a foreign commoner), her position is comparable to a princess royal.
