  1. Hemant Kulkarni, USA says:

Beautiful cards but in the absence of stamps to coordinate the subject (pictures) and the artwork depicting on an Indian poatage stamp, these have no Philately value! Same goese with the so called ‘SPECIAL COVERS’ issued by IPS in a city for an occasion with fantastic cancelaations of an UNRELATED stamp on them. India is probably the ONLY country in the world whose post office has been MILKING its stamps crazy collectors with this sort of worthless nostalgia. Try to exhibit them in any prestigious Philately competition and see how these would get tossed out for NOT abiding by the rules. Sorry folks but these have been the realities. It’s the job of a PRIVATE companies to issue post cards and NOT the IPS or its bureos and across the world it’s how wonderfully accomplished that fetch high value! Learn something about post card and FDC collections when it comes to Philately!
