Experimenting with light has awoken curiosity for science. The special stamp “play of light” (face value CHF 1.90) allows the viewer to perform three experiments with respect to the mentioned anniversaries. Thanks to the fluorescent color of the background the stamp glows in the dark. It is a light source, if it has been irradiated by the sun. The wave theory can be observed by holding the stamp in front of a light source. The micro-perforations in the paper are clearly visible in the light waves that are diffracted by the small openings. For the experiment, the quantum theory of pink curve was printed in the background of the globe with a special color. Upon irradiation with UV light, the color changes from pink to violet.

The former toy factory in Schaan made other Krippenund animal figures for several years. First of all a kind of modeling clay was developed on the basis of diatomaceous through lengthy trials. This was pressed into metal molds and painted after curing by hand. The figures sold worldwide. In 1949 a founder of the company left the company. His partner merged under the name Spiwa with another company in the industry and produced some further years.
