I am really perturbed with the topic chosen. Now the present government means exactly opposite to what they say. Want any proof. This is it.
The government with big fanfare started the Swacch Bharat. Some newspaper carried news and photograph of how the garbage is pre arranged for the dignitaries to clean and show to the public about their Clean India project.
Now the great department of post in line with the directive of the government has brought out three sets of stamps on the theme Swachh Bharat. I requested for a single sheet in more than one bureau. First response was it was not received and later after a a few days all sheets were exhausted. Not a single sheet or a block of four could not be purchased. Even in my account in Chennai I got less than 25% of my order. Reason being sufficient quantity was not received in the Bureaux. But the printed quantity is 5 lakhs as usual. Now a set of sheets costing only Rs.675 is being sold through ebay for Rs.2850 plus Rs.50 for postage. As the bid is on you can check the same. ie for a price more than four times of the issue price. That too within a few days of issue. What is the meaning and message of the great government?
Clean India with corruption and black market.
If the people sitting in power have any sense they should see how the corruption has gone into the very campaign to remove corruption.
