Here is FDC of stamp issued on 61st Birth Anniversary of great revolutionary Sardar Bhagat Singh. This stamp was issued on 19th October 1968 and release function was organised at village Hussainiwala in Punjab, where Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were cremated on March 23, 1931. EDC bears first day cancellation of Hussainiwala. Design of this stamp was controversial as some of the relatives of Sardar Bhagat Singh was demanding to print his photo in turban.  His statues located at Hussainiwala, and Indian Parliament are having turban on the head insted of hat.
