Association Baby and Nepal

\"monacoOn 12th July 2013, H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco founded the Baby & Nepal Association in order to support two elephants who escaped being put down thanks to Her fervent commitment. H.S.H. Princess Stephanie had a 3,500 m2 park built on the Fonbonne estate and continues to care passionately for these forty-year-old pachyderms.

National Species:The Carob Tree

\"monacoThe carob tree, or ceratonia siliqua, is found naturally within the Principality. In this sense, it is Monaco’s national tree. The stamp depicts some of the tree’s morphological features, such as its leaves, its flower and its fruit, the carob.

Prefranked Stamp:Red Scorpianfish

\"monacoThis prefranked stamp replaces the one that was issued in 2011. It is designed for companies under contract with the La Poste Monaco and is only for use for items posted to France or Monaco and weighing less than 35 g. The stamp depicts a red scorpionfish, mainly widespread in the Mediterranean.
