The new Club House for the Yacht Club of Monaco was inaugurated on 20 June. The building was designed by famous architect Lord Norman Foster’s firm. Conceived to be both aesthetically pleasing and at the cutting edge of technology, it was constructed to Haute Qualité Environnementale (HQE®, High Environmental Quality) standards. The building is a superb showcase for the Monaco of the third millennium, and consolidates the Principality’s position as the yachting capital of the world.
