Moldova Issued Stamps on Famous Personalities

The postage stamp with the face value of 1.20 L is issued to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth soprano, folk singer Tamara Ceban, considered one of the most popular singers of Moldova in the second half of the twentieth century.

The postage stamp with the face value of 1.75 L is issued to celebrate 75 years of the birth of poet, novelist, journalist and playwright Dumitru Matcovschi.

The postage stamp with the face value of 3 L is issued to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Bessarabia illustrious humanist physician Thomas Borsch, sanitary doctor of Chisinau, the originator and designer construction Infectious Diseases Hospital.

The postage stamp with the face value of 8.50 L is issued to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of opera singer and teacher Elena Cerna.
