Philippines issued 2014 Year of the Horse Stamps

\"philippinesStamp collectors can now start welcoming the Year of the Horse with the Philippine Postal Corp.\’s recently released stamps marking the Year of the Horse in 2014.PhlPost said the stamps were issued starting December 2, with the P10 stamps featuring the stylized head of a horse and the P30 ones featuring a stylized horse.\”Chinese Astrology uses one’s birthday and birth time to predict their fortune. The astrological birth chart is built by the Chinese Astrology Calendar, which is a combination counting system of Yin-Yang, Five Elements and 12 animals,\” .It noted the Year of the Wood Horse will start Jan. 31, 2014 and end Feb. 18, 2015.PhlPost said stamps and souvenir sheet official first day covers are available at the Post Shop, Philately and Museum Division of Manila Central Post Office.These are also available at all PhlPost regional offices.
