Japan has issued a set of stamps on flowers and heritage sites to commemorate the 400th anniversary of dispatch of the Japanese envoy to Spain. The stamps depict flowers of Miyagi, the departure place, and of Andalucia, the arrival place. In addition, Spain’s national heritage sites as well as cultural and natural features are depicted: Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Santiago de Compostela Cathedral (World Heritage Site), MUSAC (Leon), The Alcazar of Segovia (World Heritage Site), The Royal Palace of Madrid, The Cathedral of Cordoba (World Heritage Site), The Palace of Generalife (Granada, World Heritage Site), Sun flower field.
