The post services of Vietnam and Singapore on 12 September 2013 issued a set of joint stamps to mark the 40th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations.This is the second time the two countries issued a joint stamp set. The first one was published five years ago on the occasion of the 35 th anniversary of their bilateral diplomatic ties. The set comprises of two stamps featuring two rare species of jungle fowl, the grey peacock pheasant representing Vietnam and the red jungle fowl representing Singapore.
