Lithuania Issued Stamp on Military Uniforms

\"lithuaniaLithuania has issued its first stamp on Lithuanian military uniforms on 24th August 2013.The Lithuanian Army was restored on April 25, 1990. The country’s Armed Forces of the periods ~1200-1251 and 1261-1795 was called The Army of the Great Duchy of Lithuania. Lithuania of the period of 1918-1940 had the Interwar Lithuanian Army.

At present, the Lithuanian Armed Forces consist of 15 thousand soldiers and civil servants. The Lithuanian Army is made of Regular Forces comprising Ground Forces, Air Forces, Naval Forces, and Special Operations Forces, Volunteer Forces and active reserve.
