Lithuanian Issued Stamp on First National Olympics

\"lithuaniaThe new stamp is featuring running sportsmen banded with the national tricolour. The stamp has been created by the painter Tomas Dragunas. The stamp is released in the edition of 80 thousand copies with a nominal value of LTL 1.35.

The first Lithuanian National Olympics were held on the 17th -31st of July in 1938 in Kaunas and Klaipeda (hosted sailing and rowing races). The Olympics received above 2 000 Lithuanian sportsmen from Lithuania, Brazil, Great Britain, the USA, and Latvia.
