Malaysia Issued Special Stamps on Corals

\"malaysiaPos Malaysia Berhad will issue a new collection of stamps and philatelic items on the \’Corals of Malaysia\’, featuring various types of unique and beautiful corals that can be found in Malaysian seas, on Friday.Its Stamps and Philately Unit chief, Yasmin Ramli, said the stamps which would feature five types of corals, namely Table Coral, Sea Anemone, Soft Coral, Feather Stars and Sea Pen were the first in its series and would be offered for a limited time.She said this was the first time Pos Malaysia focused on corals under the name of marine life.Yasmin said Pos Malaysia had printed 1,200,000 stamps measuring 40mm x 30mm in 60 sen denomination, 40,000 pieces of first-day cover envelopes at 50 sen each and 2,000 units of folders at RM5.50 each.
