India Post is not Issuing Stamp on Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex Shimla Today

As per the schedule displayed by India Post on its official site till recently, a commemorative postage  stamp is due for release on 30th May 2013 on GAIETY HERITAGE CULTURAL COMPLEX-SHIMLA.It has been reliably learnt that this release has been postponed  indefinitely.

Nothing new with INDIA POST. It is order of the Day. No surprise many more rescheduling may be in store for us as even half of the year has not gone.CONGRATS INDIA POST KEEP IT UP.

Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex, Shimla

\"shimlaGaiety Heritage Cultural Complex is one of the most historic monuments in Shimla. This 122 years old complex has been reopened for public in June 2010. The complex is easily approachable as it occupies strategic location along the Mall Road. Build in the gothic Victorian style, the theater is an important center for various cultural, theatrical and literary events. Tourists can visit here as part of conducted tours.

The main attractions inside the complex include an Art gallery (displaying contemporary and traditional arts of India), City Museum (having historical arts and crafts of the region), Amphitheater (where live cultural performances are held), Multi-purpose theater, old theater (used for theatrical and classical events) and conference hall.
