Malta: Stamp on 900 Year\’s of Papal Bull

\"maltaTo commemorate the 900th anniversary of the Papal bull, Malta Post  issued a miniature sheet  on 15th February 2013.will, on the 15th February 2013, issue a stamp that will be set within a miniature sheet. The stamp portrays a detail of a painting by the French artist and Knight of Malta, Antoine Favray. The painting, which is exhibited at the National Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta, depicts Blessed Gerard receiving a deed of donation from Godfrey de Bouillon, first ruler of the Kingdom of Jerusalem.25,000 miniature sheets will be produced bearing a face value of €2.47. The miniature sheet was designed by Edward D. Pirotta. The size of the stamp is 44.0mm x 31.0mm with a perforation of 13.9 x 14.0 (comb), while the miniature sheet measures 120mm x 80mm.
