Iceland issued a stamp on Aldeyjarfoss waterfall on 24th January 2013. Aldeyjarfoss is a waterfall in the river of Skjálfandi in Bárðardalur. The waterfall is framed in beautiful basalt formations. The waterfall is about 20 meters. Skjálfandafljót is a glacial river, about 180 km. in length and the fourth longest watercourse in Iceland. There are many famous waterfalls in the river, especially Goðafoss.
