Jersey Issued Stamps on Wild Flowers

\"jerseyJersey Post has paid tribute to a local botany expert on the release of a new set of stamps.Margaret Long, who died last year, began research for the stamps called Frosts and Nature.They show winter flowers and plants including Butcher\’s broom, Camellia sasanqua, mistletoe and snowdrops.Mrs Long was a Jersey plant and wildlife expert and was the secretary of the Botany Section of the Societe Jersiaise, a Jersey heritage study group.
