  1. Dinu says:

Stamps will be available in Sansad Marg GPO on Monday.
    Returning dejected.
What a farce and bureaucracy will never change.
Stamps are on sale in other bureaux.
    God help

    • Gaurav says:

      Dinu ji,
i was also there since tickets were released at President house at 06:00PM so it was sold at special counter at Radha Krishan at 13th Jan and in Sansad SMHO from 14th Jan even Sr. Post master SMHO was also present at counter.
Condition is very better now in SMHO and new guy Mr. Ajay is very good.
There is a problem of lack of staff in SMHO also.

  2. Sandeep says:

Chandigarh bureau: Stamps and FDCs available. No sign of sheetlets, probably needs another roundtrip.
Stamps are beautiful. Thumbs up to designer.

  3. ANIL KR PUJARA says:

Sh.Dinu Ji, Hats off to you, your wonderful patience High Hopes as you still expect something good from the Babudom of India Post.

    • Dinu says:

      Sh. Pujaraji,
Guide me what else can I do? This mail is not to hurt you anyway but in general to express my helplessness.

I have to depend on the largesse of Babudom to get whatever is possible. As getting/ expecting anything from ‘so – called’ benevolent carrier of this wonderful hobby leads to a price, which is hyperinflated.

I have often heard if dealers are not there who will supply older things to new collectors – a paradox!! If new generation does not get interested due to hyperinflated price in old things …..all ready interest is dwindling down – even with my best effort of last 3 years I could not induct > 2 newcomers to this hobby. First question what I face is how much I can get out of it????

As once I have lamented that I am yet to come across (except one gentleman) a old one who is narturing this on youngsters for the sake of promotion of this hobby.

So even if I do not like I have to keep patience and look forward for a change in Babudom unless and until I get a proper connection.

      I stand open to correction.

Hope this Vivekananda mini-sheetlet of 8 stamps does not
    get cornered.

  5. Dinu says:

I restarted the hobby for my junior’s sake.
Other than patience I have nothing.

    Hats of to IP.

  6. Dinu says:

Sheetlet (2 sets of Stamp) 110,000/-
    Stamps 210,000/- each type
    Nothing mentioned for proponents.
Scene was like a mela yesterday – 12 sheets were sold, unofficial rumour.
Sheetlets were available in sufficient quantity for real collectors.
could post few envelopes to some philatelic friends.

  7. ANIL KR PUJARA says:

Sir, even sheetlets have not reached many Bureaus. Not only this, even Broucher is not received by more than half the bureaus across the country. Even today I came to know that at one Bureau, invoive of Broucher is received but not a single broucher has been sent. What a farce?
