Germany has issued a stamp to celebrate 50 years of Elysee Treaty on 2nd January 2013. The groundbreaking agreement was signed on 22 January 1963 by French President Charles de Gaulle and German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer signed the Elysee Palace in Paris.In the “Joint Declaration on the Franco-German cooperation” reconciliation between the two peoples, the close solidarity in matters of security and the economic and cultural development, and not least the important role of youth in consolidating the friendship between the two countries is emphasized.Denominations: 0,75 Euro
