Story of Special Cover’s on 25 Year’s of Speed Post (27):Nagaland and Mizoram

\"\"By Anil Kr Pujara

After completing 4 bureaus of North East i.e. Guwahati, Shillong, Agartala and Imphal, I now take all of you to Kohima and Aizwal. So far as civilian Bureaus are concerned, the journey is almost at the fag end of the route. It was long, arduous and adventurous journey. I do not know that how many in the past had successfully covered this journey and kissed the completion but I know that I could do it and perhaps encourage some of my fellow collectors to be my companion in the journey.

\"\"Getting the cancellation from Aizwal was very tough job as I feel that philately has not been able to make much long road in this part of the country. Perhaps all can realize that the stamp used for cancellation on the Special Cover released to commemorate the completion of 25 years of this premium journey is released much after the release of this cover. It is wrong. Any stamp released before the release of cover actually should have been used for fixing on the cover. Lack of knowledge/ ignorance is the main factors. Well the less I say about the clarity/ quality of cancellation, the better it will be. I leave it for all of you to judge yourself.
