1. Quotation from Ramcharit Manas-24.05.1974.

2. Bhagwad Geeta-25.08.1978.

Stamp over our National Patriotic songs Vande Mataram,” Kitna hai badnasib hai jafer”… and Md. Iqbal’s” Sare Janha se achcha Hindustan hamara”.The song was sung in the midnight on 15th August ,1947 in the central  Assembly hall.

3. Patriotic Song ‘Vande Mataram’-30.12.1976.

4. Bahadursah Zafar.-24.10.1975.

5. Mohammad Iqbal-21.04.1988.

    I think Ramcharitmanas Shloka stamp was issued in 1975 & not
    in 1974 as mentioned in the writeup

      Dear Preekh,you can add two more stamps of kalidas issued on
      22.06.1960 Shakuntalam and Yaksh Nimantran(O assadh ke pahle badal) from Megh Dootam mahakabya.,the origin of Philately.

    Very nice collection.
    Bahadur Shah Zafar’s “Lagta nahin hai ji mera ujde dayaar mein…” is one of the few stamps where we see the text in scripts other than our usual hindi and english alphabets. I wish if we could have somehow included more languages in our stamps same as our bank notes.
    Our senior philatelists, please share view of any collection of yours, where different languages are shown on the stamps. Thanks.
