\"\"Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao was a legendary Indian playback singer and music composer of Telugu films, Hindi and many other languages South Indian languages. He was the first movie singer-composer of the South in whose memory a stamp and first day cover was released in the year 2003 by the Govt. of India. On 11 February 2003, a stamp was released in honor of  Ghantasala at Telugu Lalita Kala Toranam, Hyderabad.(Source-The Times of India)
