India Post finally honored former President of India  R. Venkataraman by issuing a stamp on 18th April 2012.  But Bhutan post was honored him 15 years back by issuing a stamp at the Inauguration of Chhukha Hydel Project 1988 along with a beautiful design of His Majesty The King Jigme Singye Wangchuck.\"\"

What a beautiful issuance of Bhutan Post honoring the nation leaders. Givr my kudos to the stamp designer.

Was he R.V. VEnkataraman as written on the MS or R. VEnkataraman?
This is just a question. I am lucky to have this one.

I think Bhutan can issue stamps even when someone is alive – Nice gesture – else all thematic (personality) collector might be called as ‘vulture’ , who waits for his favourite personality to die to get the stamp. I think gist of my saying is clear.
