Chile Issued Stamps on University of Talca

\"\"In a ceremony at the headquarters of the University of Talca, 4 stamps were  launched  titled \”University of Talca, 1981-2011\”.In 1981, the merger between the University of Chile and the State Technical University, both based in the regional capital, gave life to the University of Talca, whose precursor was the Jesuit priest Juan Ignacio Molina, whose image was also rescued by illustration in these seals.

The postcards show emission sites in the university, such as the facade of the Faculty of Juridical and Social Sciences, the Kinetic Friso Matilde Perez, the Botanical Gardens and facade of the Faculty of Engineering Curicó Campus of the University of Talca, all these parts together in the center of the four stamps with the sculpture \”Thunder\”.

Postmarked ceremony was led by general manager CorreosChile, Paul Montana, and the rector of the Universidad de Talca, Alvaro Rojas, and the resort was also attended by officials, students and teachers of the house of studies.Regarding this issue, Paul Montano stated that \”recognize these stamps to a university, which has managed to deliver quality education to the inhabitants of the Maule region and elsewhere in Chile, is, no doubt, a great satisfaction for our company and hope to further develop this beautiful work for many years, \”stated the executive.Note that these four seals have a print run of 50,000 units each and are available to the general public in all branches of CorreosChile, over the country.
