Lal Bahadur Shastri was born on 2 October 1904 and he was the second Prime Minister of the Republic of India and a significant figure in the Indian independence movement.Lal Bahadur Shastri created the slogan of \”Jai Jawan Jai Kisan\” (\”Hail the soldier, Hail the farmer\”), underlining the need to boost India’s food production.Shastriji was known for his honesty and humility throughout his life. He was the first person to be posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna, and a memorial \”Vijay Ghat\” was built for him in Delhi. He devoted his life for the pride and honor of the country. He was regarded as man of principles.
