The Macanese Association has (ADM) launched a competition to design the association’s 15th anniversary stamp. Participants can submit their entries at ADM’s headquarters until July 16.The theme of the competition is ‘Macau, a home for all’. “Competitors should give consideration to the spirit of multiculturalism and the coexistence of different people that have always characterised Macau and which is reflected in ADM itself. ADM wants to be a ‘House for Everyone’, because it aims to gather all the Macanese community”, they said in a press release.Entry is restricted to Macau ID holders and divided into two categories; those aged over 21 and university students. The stamps must include text in both Portuguese and Chinese languages. The winner will receive a prize of MOP 3,500, the first runner-up MOP 2,000 and the second runner-up MOP 1,000.Ten proposals will be selected in the first phase of the contest. From July 22-24, each of the ten participants will need to explain the details of their work to the jury before the final decision is made.
