    Dear Mr. Jain
Please note an error. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was never the first prime minister of India. The first prime minister of India was Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Babu Prasad was first president of India. He post introduced in 1950 and before him it was Shri C. Rajgopalachari who took over as governor general of India from Lord Mountbatten on June 21, 1948 and remained in officed till January 26, 1950.

    With my regards.
