      As far as I know Telegraph Souvenir Sheet was sold for Rs.1.-
      by Deptt of Posts when issued perhaps in 1953. Whereas Telegraph Centenary actually happened in 1951.
      (This souvenir sheet is presently available on the internet at
      Rs.2,000.- & more.)

    Mr Vinayake if you want all the details are there in article published on 3rd March 2011 in Philamirror.It was just a collectable item having no postal use.But it was released by dept of post,it was released just for distribution among collectors.
