Special Stamp Collection Donated to Mashhad Museum

\"\"A Tehrani collector has recently given a special postage stamp collection to the Astan-e Qods Razavi Library and Museum in Mashhad.A number of the stamps donated by Kazem Aqapur-Alamdari are made from textile and thin sheets of wood,.The stamps were published in Italy in 2004 and 2007.Fruit-scented stamps bearing the picture of the same fruit are also seen in the collection.

The stamps have been issued on various occasions in Austria, Argentina, Uzbekistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Portugal, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Finland, Canada, Poland and several other countries.Each year, many interesting and precious artifacts are donated by Iranian and foreign individuals and organizations to the museum, which is one of the richest in the Middle East.The museum is adjacent to the Shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad.

    I have inherited a collection of about 25000+ postal stamps from my grandfather and father, consisting of stamps from just all the countries of the world. Some of these stamps and envelopes date back to 18th century. Please advice me about the collection. Regards.
