Chitralekha Stamp:India Post still Confused

Wonderful ways of India Post \"\" By Anil Kr Pujara

India Post released a commamorative stamp 2day on CHITRALEKHA a Gujrati magazine\"\" on 20.04.11. The FDC n broucher is also released. Interestingly the date of release of the stamp mentioned on the broucher is 20.04.11. India Post till date has maintained the date of release of stamp as 22.04.11.The broucher must have been printed long back.India Post must be aware of its actual date of release. It must have been decided long back that this stamp will be released on 20.04.11.Since this stamp was released by Honble President of India, but natural the availability of the President must have been ensured n prior appointment must have fixed after due approval. That be so the case, then why wrong date of release of this stamp was declared on the official site of India Post. Even till today when the stamp has been released by Honble President of India n this is put up for sale at the counters across the country, official site still continues to mention n maintain the date of release of the stamp as 22.04.11 in the schedule for release of stamp for 2011.Such a big country having so large n vast manpower to man the department does not have any one to update its official site on regular basis.First of all those responsible for mentioning wrong date should be held accountable. Then the ones who are entrusted with maintaining the official site should be advised to be more particular on this score n take the assignement more seriously since official site of INDIA POST reflects the image of the country BEING REFERRED GLOBALLY.\"\"

Chitralekha stamp : Why isn’t IndiaPost using the unified Rupee symbol on postage stamps? This 1000 pound gorilla Called Indiapost is also a sloth. Very-2 irritating! Hope, the R.B.I. gets irritated soon.
