Spain:Stamp on Cathedral

Spaina has released a   stamp souvenir sheet on 3rd April 2011 on the Cathedral of\"\" Sigüenza. The stamp features the main sacristy whilst the souvenir sheet depicts a view of the main facade and the remaining cathedral compound.The impressive building of the Cathedral can be seen as one approaches the town of Sigüenza. The construction works of the cathedral began in 1124 on initiative of Bishop Bernard of Agen and went on until the 16th century, and even the 18th century with the decoration works of the various chapels.
