Austria Released Stamp on Karl Golsdorf

Karl Golsdorf (1861 to 1916) was introduced to the complicated design of locomotives by\"\" his father at an early age. From 1880 to 1884 he was a student at the University of Technologyin Vienna.You can’t save a ton of weight on a locomotive – but you can save a kilo in a thousand places” – this quotation from Karl Golsdorf illustrates pointedly the extreme creativity which the famous Austrian engineer and designer used to seek out outstanding technical solutions.Austria released stamp on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary on 22nd March 2011.
