KTM Motorcycle Celebrated On New Austrian Stamp

Austria Post has released a stamp on KTM Motorcycle Fans of classic motorcycles may be\"\" interested in a new celebratory stamp issued by Austrian Post which depicts the KTM 125 – one of the earliest from the KTM stable.Founded in 1934 by engineer Hans Trunkenpolz, KTM became a leader in off-road motorcycle production leading to the development of a range of motorcycles for all ages and requirements including the 2010 model – the 650 Enduro (pictured). It is however the KTM 125 that the company was perhaps the most famous for. At the time this model was introduced, KTM had just 20 employees, building just three cycles per day.The stamp, which costs 0.75 Euros, was designed by Hannes Margreiter.
