International Philately Exhibition\’s in India(3)-ASIANA 77

First Asian Internation Stamp Exhbition, Asiana 77 held in Bangalore, India from 19-23 October 1977.  A View of Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore the architectural Splender, the building is based on Dravidian style, comprising richly carved bases and capitals for pillars, deep friezes, kapotha cornices, chaithya arches, heavy pediments domical finials, etc; At the same time, the construction has been on modern designs, making use of the present-day materials like steel, reinforced cement concrete glass, plastic, etc. taken as a First Day Cover design and Special depicts the design of Khedda Operations in Mysore.  Each day of the Exhibition celebrated as Inaugration Day, Postal History Day, literature Day, Awards Day, and Philatelic Fraternity Day.  Army Postal Service also issued a Special cover on this great occasion.\"\"\"\"
