Vatican announces stamp issue Programme for 2011

The Vatican Philatelic Bureau has announced the Provisional Stamp Program for 2011. The program is as expected very interesting and includes various stamp thematics which will be appealing to all types of collectors. The highlight of the program is probably a Joint Stamp Issue with Spain commemorating the World Youth Day to be held in Spain in 2011.

2011 sees also the 60th anniversaryof the priestly ordination of Pope Benedict XVI which will be commemorated with a stamp issue. All in all its an interesting stamp programme and the team at World Stamp News look forward to seeing the designs as the stamps are being issued.
