How To Use Old First Day Covers To Enrich Mutual Thematic Collections

Phila-Mirror  recieved a letter from a Senior philatelist Mr. Hiren M.Zaveri from Surat.

Beauty of this letter is that Mr. Hiren M. Zaveri used a very old first day cover (FDC) of  Wild Life Preservation of 7th  Oct 1963.

He also chose to affix the stamp of Jasmine on this FDC and this makes it a lovely match with the wildlife theme.

Philatelists may observe that how old Blank FDCs can be used in developing thematic collections.
